Nick Tompkins describes
For Meningitis Awareness Week 2020 we exclusively revealed the personal meningitis experience of Rugby star, Nick Tompkins. Now, he and his mother Debbie have spoken out to raise awareness of deadly meningitis and its potentially life altering affects.

In January 2020, Nick Tompkins was selected for the Wales national rugby union team and was a former England Under-20 player. However, things could have been very different.  In 2002, when Nick was just 7, meningitis struck.
The Meningitis Research Foundation Support Service is here for anyone impacted by meningitis, or anyone with questions/concerns. Please call 080 8800 3344, email helpline@meningitis.org, or use the Live Chat functionality on site (Mon – Fri, 9am – 5pm).

Thank you to Nick and Debbie Tompkins for their support.
