Danielle Wood

I have an emergency c section, then when my little girl was 5 weeks old. I became unwell with what I thought was a migraine, I literally couldn’t move my head. Couldn’t even bear to be near my baby. I had contracted bacterial meningitis type B from the epidural.

I spent two weeks in hospital on antibiotics and steroids. The first week was very scary the first two days are a blur then at the end of the 8th day the consultants notified me that the medicines were working and I was getting better.
