Christopher David Bell's story

On the 1st March 2013, my father passed away due to septicaemia and a heart attack.

At around 11am, I was told my father had been taken into hospital as he had swollen hands and bruises started to appear on his body. My mother and father are divorced so my mother said she would take me and my sister to the hospital.

I went to get ready so we could go and when I came down to leave my mother had just came of the phone and it was my dads sister-in-law saying that my dad had passed away.

It was such a shock as it was sudden, it was hard and still is.
