My name is Bret – I was born June of 91 with spinal meningitis. The doctors told my family not to be attached, that I wouldn’t live longer than two weeks.

"But I fought and I fought harder than anything and I came out on top."

I know that’s what they had been told and planned for my life to be short lived, but I fought and I fought harder than anything and I came out on top.

I overcame spinal meningitis and am very healthy at age 20 today. I am pursuing my life dream to become a police officer so don’t give up on the fight of your life and dreams because as long as you fight and believe you can overcome anything. God BLESS!!!!
