Hi...My name is Bernie and I'm 41 years old..I had bacterial meningitis at 8 months old..I am deaf in my right ear since and also developed tinnitus at age 11..I have also vision impairment in my right eye.
I did well at school, but had(and still have) slow recall of learned information...kind of like, I know the answer, I just can't find it in my brain quickly!!! My memory is shocking bad... I can only ever remember clearly the previous year or so and everything else is a blur..I have a sister who attended school with me and she's always bringing up stories from school/childhood etc that I have zero recollection of!! Up until now, my balance/gait was good... but not so much now as I've been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis... Seems as if my brain is my weak spot in life!
