Emma and Amy McAuley from Randalstown recently had haircuts. Nothing unusual there, but Emma’s 13” and Amy’s 10” of locks were donated to the Little Princess Trust. This charity makes wigs from real hair to be used by children who have suffered hair loss.
Sponsorship raised was all donated to Meningitis Research Foundation, in memory the girls’ cousin, Alice, who very sadly died of meningitis in 2005. In total Emma and Amy (with help from their mum, Martine) raised £1375, a fantastic total!
A big thank you from us all in MRF’s Belfast office. And good news for you girls, your new hair styles look fantastic!
