Join #TeamMRF at the Manchester Marathon in 2026 and run to defeat meningitis. 

Manchester Marathon

The adidas Manchester Marathon, the UK's second largest marathon and one of Europe's largest is an iconic event drawing participants from all over the world to the vibrant streets of Greater Manchester.

We pride ourselves in welcoming all to take on our 26.2 mile challenge, from some superb elite runners, to those who thought completing a marathon would never be possible. Many regular runners find this the ideal event to get a personal best time, whilst everybody finds the incredible Mancunian support throughout the course unforgettable.

You'll pay a registration fee and do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

Reg Fee: £40
Fundraising Target: £500

You'll pay for your own event place and you can raise as much as you like for Meningitis Research Foundation.

If you have your own place but would like to fundraise for the charity, please contact fundraising@meningitis.org.

I support all of our brilliant community fundraisers. Our fundraisers take part in a wide range of events from hosting a cake sale to completing a skydive or cycling from London to Paris.
