About the event

Join #TeamMRF at the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon in 2026.

Leeds Marathon

Taking place on Sunday 10th May, the marathon honours former Leeds Rhino player Rob Burrow who was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019.

This is an event that truly is for everyone, so whether you are an experienced runner or have never thought about running an event before, we welcome all abilities to join us in 2026 for this very special event.

Each step you take in Leeds is a step towards defeating meningitis - together we can do it.

You'll pay a registration fee and do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

Reg Fee: £20
Fundraising Target: £350
A.
You'll pay for your own event place and you can raise as much as you like for Meningitis Research Foundation.

If you have your own place but would like to fundraise for the charity, please contact fundraising@meningitis.org.

What you will recieve

All of our runners can expect to recieve:

  • Technical charity running vest
  • Access to our Coopah training hub
  • A dedicated charity contact for support along the way
