Join #TeamMRF at the Edinburgh Marathon Festival in 2025 and run for a world free of meningitis and septicaemia.

The Edinburgh Marathon Festival is Scotland's largest mass participation running event, with over 35,000 runners and 100,000 spectators enjoying eleven different race distances over two days. From the 5k, held in the stunning Holyrood Park, to the one of the UK's fastest marathons, there's something for everyone.

Fundraising - Charity Sponsorship

You'll do lots of fundraising and we cover the cost of your event place!

Edinburgh Marathon: Fundraising target of £500.
Edinburgh Half Marathon: Fundraising target of £350
EMF 10k: Fundraising target of £150.
EMF 5k: Fundraising target of £90.

Self Funder

You'll pay for your own event place and you can raise as much as you like for Meningitis Research Foundation.

I support all of our brilliant community fundraisers. Our fundraisers take part in a wide range of events from hosting a cake sale to completing a skydive or cycling from London to Paris.
