My best friend got admitted into intensive care three weeks ago with a case of bacterial cryptococcal meningitis, it was such a serious case they could no longer do any more lumbar punctures and had to do a brain surgery to extract the liquid directly from the head. He has lost his eye sight and can still hardly move any of the body except one arm. His body reacts to impulses and the pupils react to light but nothing seems to be improving, the doctors say it appears there is no brain damage so they cant give any previsions from the scans......
