Student immunisation refused

My son skipped a year of school and so will start university slightly younger than normal. He was born on 7th September 1997 but our GP practice has told us that the cut off date is 31st August and therefore the NHS has instructed them not to include him in the immuisation programme. This seems wrong as it will put him at risk. Has anybody had a similar experience and found a solution?

Ongoing symptoms

I had viral meningitis in 1969 at the age of 25 and was hospitalised for 8 days with excruciating headaches, vomiting and unable to tolerate bright light or loud sounds. Over the years I have realised that I am very sensitive to temperature change on the top of my head and mostly wear hats on a windy or cold day to avoid having headaches. If I don't wear a hat on those occasions I will have a severe headache which will last for days. I am curious to know if other people have experienced the same symptoms as myself.

Viral meningitis after affects

In September 2014 I was taken ill with flu like symptoms after 3 days my GP said I need to go into hospital after 2 lumber punctures they said it was viral meningitis I was in hospital for 4 weeks, 12 days in a coma, I am lucky to be here, 10 months later I am still struggling with every day life, I have numbness in lower back and saddle area really struggle with going to the toilet as muscles don't work, legs constantly weak and numb, energy levels low, sleep loads, leg cramps and foot cramps so uncomfortable, it's as much as I can do to go...
