England Meningococcal Adult 25-59 Recovery with After Effects Amputations

I had a CT scan with contrast at 7:30pm on the 27th February. I went home that same night. The next day I woke with head pain and it got worse very quickly. My daughter phoned the ambulance. I was taken to hospital. Passed out 20 mins later for two days, I can't remember anything.

"People think I'm better because it's gone now, but it's worse now because I still feel it."

Three weeks of antibiotics and then I was left with all sorts of feelings. I can't pee anymore - no feeling. My speech is awful and I twitch badly. My whole body jerks. I get headaches.

This scares me, I have flashbacks. I try to process what happened but I can't. I'm finding things hard to cope with.

People think I'm better because it's gone now, but it's worse now because I still feel it. I'm awake and aware of the scars I feel.
