About the event

As one of the World Marathon Majors and the world's biggest fundraising event, the TCS London Marathon is on many people's bucket lists.
 
The world famous route will take you past many of London’s most memorable landmarks – Big Ben, Tower Bridge and Buckingham Palace. Every step of the way you will cheered on by thousands of supporters.

Charity places

If you do not have your own place and would like to join #TeamMRF, please click the 'Apply for a charity place' button and submit your application.

Please note, as of the 1st August 2025 we are operating a waiting list. Your application will join this list and you may be offered a place at a later point in the year should places become available.

Ballot places

If you have applied for the public ballot and have been successful, you can still run for Meningitis Research Foundation. We would love to welcome you to #TeamMRF. Please click the 'Fundraise with your own place' button at the bottom of the page to let us know.

As a Team MRF runner, you will receive:

• Meningitis Research Foundation branded running vest with iron on name

• One to one fundraising support from your dedicated charity contact

• Regular updates throughout the year to keep you informed

• Support on the day from our charity cheer point, and complimentary drinks, snacks, showers and massage at our post-race reception

• Access to our London Marathon team Facebook and WhatsApp groups so you can get to know and support your fellow runners, and celebrate each other’s achievements 

• Training webinars and support webinars throughout the year
• Free subscription to the Coopah run coach app
