About the event

Join us at the Kew Gardens Half Marathon 2024 on the 31st March.

These races have one of the most beautiful starts of any running race in Europe!

All of our runners can expect to receive from us:

  • Access to fundraising resources and online guides
  • Meningitis Research Foundation running vest 
  • Fundraising support from your dedicated charity contact
  • Regular updates to keep you informed of everything you need to know
  • Access to our #TeamMRF  Facebook page so you can get to know and support your fellow runners, and celebrate each others training/fundraising achievements!

All of our runners can expect to receive from the Kew Gardens Half Marathon:
  • Best Medal in London
  • Amazing Tech tee (inc. Female cut)
  • Supporters FREE entry into Kew Gardens* (2 adults and 2 children plus runner). Normally £16 per adult. (* Before 8.30am)
  • Flat Fast picturesque course starting inside a Botanical Garden that has just sprung into life
  • Great goody bag inc. post race snacks and drink
  • Course entertainment including DJ’s and cheer stations
  • Pace makers (8 different groups)
  • Clearly marked and measured UKA certified course (Licence ID: 2024-47382)
  • Marshals & sweep marshals
  • First Aid in place throughout the course

With support from the fundraising team, runners are asked to raise a minimum of:

By becoming part of our team, you will be helping us to achieve our goal of defeating meningitis wherever it exists. Your contribution will enable us to fund vital research into the disease, provide life-saving awareness information, and support those who have lost a loved one or are coping with the after effects of this disease.
