About the event

A free support day from 9.30am to 4pm for families with children aged 0-16 years who have lost limbs due to meningitis and septicaemia.

Children with amputations, alongside their siblings, can get involved in a range of sporting activities with specialist coaches whilst parents listen to talks from experts and clinicians specialising in rehabilitation medicine.

You can:

  • get your questions answered by medical specialists.
  • see the latest prosthetics.
  • meet other families who have been affected by this disease.

Are you 16 – 25 yrs?

We would love you to join us on the day too, there is nothing more inspiring for the children than meeting you. Please feel free to come for the whole day, half a day or even just a couple of hours. We would love you to be there.
