About the event

Join us at the Kew Gardens Half Marathon on the 30th March 2025.

This race has one of the most beautiful starts of any running race in Europe. The route takes off on closed roads inside Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, before venturing down the Richmond towpath and riverside to Ham House before turning to finish back at Kew Gardens next to the River Thames.

If you are looking for a stand alone race in Spring 2025 or for a tune-up before a spring marathon, Kew the Run offers a flat and fast course. It's a perfect chance to lock in to some marathon paced miles alongside pace makers to help you judge your pace.

Take in the most biodiverse place on Earth at the wonderful Kew Gardens in this exciting fast and flat event and run for a world free from meningitis.

To join #TeamMRF as a charity place runner you'll need to pay an entry fee of £15 and commit to a minimum fundraising target of £300 for this fantastic half marathon.

All of our runners can expect to receive from us:

  • Meningitis Research Foundation running vest 
  • Fundraising support and event update from your dedicated charity contact
  • Access to our #TeamMRF Facebook page so you can get to know and support your fellow supporters, and celebrate each others training/fundraising achievements

  • Fantastic event medal
  • Amazing technical running T-shirt (Male or Female cut)
  • Supporters FREE entry into Kew Gardens* (2 adults and 2 children plus runner). Normally £16 per adult. (* Before 8.30am)
  • Great goody bag inc. post race snacks and drink
  • Course entertainment including DJ’s and cheer stations
  • Pace makers (8 different groups)
  • Clearly marked and measured UKA certified course (Licence ID: 2024-47382)

By becoming part of our team, you will be helping us to achieve our goal of defeating meningitis wherever it exists. Your support will help our work funding vital research projects into the disease, providing life-saving awareness information, and supporting those who have lost a loved one or are coping with the after effects of this disease.
