About the event

We’ve got just the mission to keep you connected and super-active this summer!  At Home Superheroes can be completed anywhere (living room, garden, neighbourhood) in any way (walking, running, pushing, wheeling) you wish!

Choose a distance to complete as a team between the 17th July and 14th August however you like. Whether you choose to run, hop, wheel or dance the funky chicken around your living room or local park, just be sure to keep within Government guidelines.

All teams will receive a super race pack and access to a dedicated app so you can share your progress and photos with the whole Superhero community if you wish. Your super race pack will include:

  • Race number
  • 1 x Memento medal
  • MRF T-shirt
  • Finish line tape
  • Access to a dedicated app to share your photos and progress
  • Access to a portal to download lots of fun signs, games and more to keep you motivated
  • The chance to be a Superhero for the day/week/month. Priceless.

The Superhero Series have put together a great At Home Superheroes FAQs to help answer any questions you may have.

Channel 4 will be bringing us some challenge highlights from around the nation and is inviting all Superheroes to send in action footage of your own home triumphs, which could make the closing celebratory montage – so get those Superhero costumes ready!

Helping to defeat meningitis

Even in these difficult times we are continuing towards our goal of a world free from meningitis and septicaemia and we can only do that with support from people like you.

To help reach that goal you can either set up a team JustGiving page to share with your friends and family and set your own target or you can share our main At Home Superheros JustGiving page to help raise vital funds. This event has no minimum fundraising target, just raise whatever you can!

Your contribution will enable us to fund vital research into the disease, provide life-saving awareness information, and support those who have lost a loved one or are coping with the after effects of this disease.
