The support received from the community after Joshua Chamberlain died was beyond touching. We began to contemplate how to carry on his legacy. He was known for kindness and a willingness to lend a hand. His school started a Kindness Squad to honor him – this grew into a community kindness initiative for his 11th birthday, and ultimately the foundation of this charity.
We seek to encourage acts of kindness, help those who struggle with dyslexia, and promote technology in schools. As members of CoMO, we intend to educate attendees of our future events on the signs and dangers of meningitis.
