Pedwindé Hamadou Seogo

Dr. Seogo is a medical doctor, field epidemiologist and public health emergency management specialist from Burkina Faso.

Currently, he is the regional technical coordinator of AFENET for French-speaking West Africa (Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea-Conakry, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Togo).

He has over nine years of experience implementing field epidemiology programs in Burkina Faso, Djibouti, and Mauritania, and recently in all French-speaking West African countries, as well as coordinating health interventions for internally displaced persons and coordinating the Health and Nutrition Cluster for humanitarian response.

Dr. Seogo also has over fifteen years of experience in managing several epidemics/outbreaks and other public health emergencies including epidemics of meningitis, Covid-19, measles, Lassa fever, Ebola, Brucellosis, polio, dengue fever and food poisoning – not forgetting his experience in managing health projects and programs.

He holds a certificate in public health emergency management in Atlanta as part of the management of Public Health Emergency Operations Centers.
