Meningitis Now is a charity, with over 30 years’ experience, formed in October 2013 by bringing together Meningitis UK and the Meningitis Trust, the founders of the meningitis movement in the UK. Meningitis Now was the first meningitis patient group in the world.
Meningitis Now is leading the fight against meningitis in the UK. Its vision is a future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone affected gets the support they need to rebuild their lives.
The charity provides a powerful, united voice for individuals, families, communities, experts and professionals who know just how devastating meningitis can be.
Over their history, they have also invested over £12.7m in early-stage research that has played a critical part in the introduction of five life-saving vaccines.
