Joyce I. Nchom Humphrey, PhD is an astute meteorologist and a climate and health enthusiast with publications on meningitis as it relates to weather and climate.
She has a B.Sc. in Geography from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Nigeria, and an M.Sc. and PhD. in Applied Meteorology, both from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, Nigeria. A serial member of several task teams relating to weather and climate and their impact on man and the environment, and a one-time WMO-WHO Climate and health focal point for Nigeria, Dr. Joyce is an independent researcher, a Climate Reality Leader, a member of the Royal Meteorological Society and the American Meteorological Society, as well as the Association of Nigerian Geographers.
