My baby girl was diagnosed with bacterial meningitis at three days of life. She was dying when we arrived at the hospital. Thankfully with the help of the amazing doctors and nurses she survived. She is a very happy baby girl but she continues to have a lot of obstacles that have been caused by the meningitis.
I knew of meningitis but never thought that it was still a prevalent threat. This disease is still here and is still a threat to any person regardless of where you live or how much you make. I hope to continue to spread awareness, to gain support and help eradicate this horrible disease.
