Funeral donations

Giving a donation in lieu of flowers at a funeral or memorial service is a meaningful way to celebrate and remember the life of someone special. Every donation you make is another step closer to a world free from meningitis.

If you’re looking to send Meningitis Research Foundation donations from a funeral or memorial, we’re here to support you. We can also provide you with materials to support your collection such as a collection tin or awareness literature.

You can pay in donation online through our website or you can send donation offline via the post.

    You can send Meningitis Research Foundation your funeral donations online today through our donation page.  Alternatively, if you’re looking to set up an online collection, please follow the instructions in the funeral collection section below.

    You can send funeral donations to Meningitis Research Foundation through the post using a donation form. Please provide us with the name of the person who has died and the best address to send an acknowledgement.  Please send cheques to: Meningitis Research Foundation, Room 703, 7th Floor, The Programme Building, The Pithay, Bristol, BS1 2NB.

Set up an online funeral collection 

If you’d like to collect donations online and notify your friends and family of a funeral or memorial service, you can set up a funeral collection page through MuchLoved. Your family and friends will be able to make a donation, share their memories or light a virtual candle.

You can also reach out to us directly by emailing fundraising@meningitis.org and we’ll help you set up your online funeral collection.

Get support

Physical and emotional recovery from meningitis and its impact can be different for everyone. Support is available if meningitis has affected you or someone you know.

If you are in the UK or Ireland, the Meningitis Research Foundation Support Services team are ready to answer your questions.

If you are outside the UK and Ireland, our member network is the Confederation of Meningitis Organisations (CoMO). CoMO is dedicated to reducing the impact of meningitis globally, with members across the world. It is a great resource for finding support where you live.
