• Integrating the perspectives of individuals, families and communities affected by meningitis, because no one understands the impact of the disease better.
• Investing in and strengthening meningitis immunisation programmes (i.e., improving MenACWY vaccination coverage rates).
• Improving diagnostic infrastructure and ensuring timely access to care for everyone.
• Collaborating on disease surveillance across regions and our borders to keep communities safe.
• Marking World Meningitis Day. Created by the Confederation of Meningitis Organisations, it is the global moment to raise awareness of meningitis, inform and educate communities.

• Awareness raising / Community organising: civil society organisations and individuals can help dispel myths, combat hesitancy, educate the public and raise awareness through campaigns like World Meningitis Day.
