Advocacy and Engagement Manager
Job Purpose and Summary
A key role in our Communications and Engagement team, the Advocacy and Engagement Manager is responsible for the continuous development and delivery of the Meningitis Research Foundation’s global advocacy program, in support of the World Health Organization’s Global Road Map to Defeat Meningitis by 2030.
Includes taking the lead on building understanding of, and engagement with, the Road Map amongst all Confederation of Meningitis Organisations members plus management of our advocacy and engagement partnership with UNICEF (including all agreed outputs). A highly collaborative and varied role, working with a range of global health organisations to ensure meningitis is recognized as, and remains, a global health priority.
Reports to
Director of Communications and Engagement. Dotted line to the Head of Confederation of Meningitis Organisations. Manages the Advocacy and Engagement Officer.
Salary
£40,000
Contract Type
Permanent role.

Interviews are likely to be in person, in our offices in central Bristol. Candidates should be prepared to travel if necessary to attend an interview. Travel expenses will be reimbursed and candidates with individual travel, access or disability support requirements are encouraged to communicate their needs to enable appropriate support to be provided to ensure access to interviews.
