Our vision is a world free from meningitis. Since 1989, we have been driving lasting change through research, awareness, advocacy, and support for everyone affected.

Ways you and your team can support us

  • Charity of the Year

    If you run a Charity of the Year competition, we would really appreciate your support, whether that is nominating us, letting us know if you are open to an application, or simply telling us that you have included us in your competition.

  • Employee fundraising

    By getting involved in fundraising for us, whether you organise a charity challenge, hold a bake sale, or encourage your colleagues to take part in a sponsored event, you will be helping to raise vital funds that support our work. Every pound you raise strengthens our work to defeat meningitis and care for those affected. Your support helps us move closer to a world free from this devastating disease.

Law firm sponsorship

Providing access to high-quality legal advice is a vital part of the support we offer. We are seeking to partner with law firms independently accredited by Chambers and Partners in clinical negligence. Many firms have already supported Meningitis Research Foundation through residual client balance dispersals. We now invite new sponsors to join us in expanding this important work.

Our commitment is to ensure those we support can easily find trusted, specialist legal advice when needed. To achieve this, we aim to build a network of leading law firms specialising in claimant clinical negligence, enabling beneficiaries to connect with independently accredited experts local to them.

To complete our regional panel, we seek one firm in each of these areas:

  • London
  • North East England.
  • North West England.
  • Wales
  • Scotland
  • Northern Ireland.
  • The Republic of Ireland.

We place great value on our independence and credibility. That’s why we limit partnerships to law firms accredited by Chambers and Partners. This ensures connections are based solely on merit, maintaining transparency and trust for all involved.
