Volunteers' week - thank you

01 June 2007

To mark Volunteers'  Week between 1 - 7 June, Meningitis Research Foundation would like to thank its volunteers for their outstanding contribution of time and skills to the Foundation.

Volunteers'  Week is a time when we especially like to recognise volunteers throughout the UK for all they do in their local communities and especially for the Foundation. We can't put a price on volunteering. That's why their time and skills are not just precious, they're priceless.

Some of our volunteers have been affected in some way by meningitis. Others have had no direct experience but are inspired by the work we do and simply want to lend a hand. Volunteers are involved throughout the organisation in a number of different ways, from helping distribute Foundation literature to taking part in fundraising events and collections.

Whatever your interest, skills and experience there is sure to be a way you can help the charity. Meningitis Research Foundation wouldn't be able to accomplish everything it does without the dedication of our volunteers! Please accept out heartfelt thanks for your generous and enthusiastic hard work.

If you would like to help the Foundation as a volunteer, contact your local Foundation office
