Third edition of Early Management Protocol published

Meningitis Research Foundation was extremely happy to work once again with St Mary's Hospital, London to produce an updated version of our protocol for hospital management of meningococcal meningitis and septicaemia. Health professionals wishing to view the newly published third edition should choose the Hospital doctors subsection in For Health Professionals.

What progress is being made?

Since it was founded in 1989, the charity has awarded 122 research grants, leading to many advances in the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia. The total value of the Foundation's investment in vital scientific research is nearly £13.5/€19 million.
