Playden girl tackles bike ride for MRF
16 August 2012
Eliza Wallis from Playden took part in a 27 mile bike ride on Saturday 4th August on behalf of Meningitis Research Foundation and has managed to raise £255.19.
Eliza said: “I wanted to raise as much money as possible for Meningitis Research Foundation because my favourite teacher, Danny Sweatman, lost two brothers, Ryan and Joe, to meningitis. I can't imagine how much this has affected the whole of their family and I thought it was my time to help.”
