2,000 years of history and a great day out for everyone!
You are invited to our Members' Day at Cardiff Castle on Sunday 4 September. This is a chance to meet other members and MRF staff, hear about our work and visit one of Wales' leading heritage attractions at a specially discounted rate.
Cardiff Castle is a truly remarkable site with a history that spans over 2000 years. Roman soldiers slept here, noble knights held court here and The Bute family, with extraordinary wealth and vision, transformed the Castle into a romantic Victorian fantasy.
Wander the grounds, climb the Keep and absorb the stunning decoration of the castle apartments, take a guided tour or go on a Family trail or lock up your friends and family in medieval stocks!. There is also a Children's Stay & Play area with hands on exhibits, art and craft activities, puppet theatre and child-size costumes.

*Please note the Premium tour is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with small children or pushchairs as there are steps and spiral staircases.
