Ruby's Ball

In memory of Ruby Ayoub

The Ball is back!

Due to the phenomenal success of the 2012 ball, MRF Ireland will hold another in 2013.

This year’s Ball, which is being co-hosted by the Irish Sudden infant Death Association, has been named Ruby’s Ball in memory of little Ruby Ayoub. In November 2009, five year old Ruby lost her life after contracting meningitis.

Since her death, Ruby’s parents and family have been working tirelessly to raise funds to create awareness of meningitis and its symptoms and this year’s luxurious location will be a night to remember for this fantastic cause.

This black tie event will kick off at 7pm with a champagne reception in the lavish Shelbourne Hotel. You will then be treated to a four course meal followed by - no less than two DJs and a band to keep you entertained into the small hours!

If you’re feeling lucky to can try your hand at winning some of the fabulous prizes on offer in this year’s raffle or auction.

Tickets are €100 per person
Tables of ten €1,000

Are you part of a company? Why not treat your team to a corporate night out in aid of a fantastic cause. In return we will advertise your business in our brochure and highlight your corporate social commitment to fighting meningitis.

By coming to our ball you will be helping to bring a world free from meningitis and septicaemia a step closer.

Meningitis and septicaemia are devastating diseases which can kill or disable in hours. Although anyone of any age can get the diseases, babies, children and young adults are most at risk.

Your contribution will enable us to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia, provide life-saving awareness information and support people who have lost a loved one or are coping with after effects.
