Oxford Island Walk

Four mile, child-friendly walk

To help commemorate our 25th year we are organising a walk in Oxford Island which is located on the shores of Lough Neagh.

We want to encourage people of all ages to join us and discover the beautiful National Nature Reserve whilst raising funds.

The four mile trail which is child friendly hosts a variety of beautiful habitats including reed beds, open water, wildlife ponds and wildflower meadows.

There’s also an opportunity to birdwatch in the many hides and walk along the Kinnego Marina. You can register for £5 and we ask that you aim to raise at least £45 in sponsorship money. The walk will include light refreshments.

By becoming part of our team you will be helping to bring a world free from meningitis and septicaemia a step closer.

Meningitis and septicaemia are devastating diseases which can kill or disable in hours. Although anyone of any age can get the diseases, babies, children and young adults are most at risk.

Your contribution will enable us to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia, provide life-saving awareness information and support people who have lost a loved one or are coping with after effects, like Sue and Cieran.
