Take a New Year's plunge for MRF

Start 2010 off with a splash to raise cash!

The 24th annual Loony Dook will take place on 1 January 2010.

Why not take part and help raise vital funds as well as getting a truly invigorating start to the New Year!

Participants should be at The Moorings Lounge, Hopetoun Road, South Queensferry, Edinburgh between 9.30am and 11.30am on 1 January for registration and the Dook will take place at 12 noon. Dookers will parade behind a merry band of pipers, through the town and down on to the foreshore for their Dook in the Forth. Fancy dress is welcome but no wetsuits allowed!

After their exertions, all Dookers are welcome to return to The Moorings to enjoy a well-deserved hot toddy and a bowl of soup.
