London to Paris Bike Ride

All year round, London to Paris, Cycling

London to Paris Bike Ride

The cycle was really challenging, it was hot and hilly, but was more than worth it for the sense of achievement.

Your expedition begins in bustling London city where you will meet the rest of your group and navigate your way through England’s capital and out into the leafy suburbs.

You will head towards Godstone and then off on relatively traffic free roads to Newhaven. You then cross by ferry from Newhaven to Dieppe where you can rest after a long day and a great cycling experience.

Your second day is slightly less arduous and affords you the time to get to know your group and form a real team spirit as you journey through the beautiful French countryside.

The penultimate day of your challenge pushes your stamina with 79 miles (127kms) of cycling to the French capital and to the foot of the Eiffel Tower.  It is here you can celebrate in style with a glass of champagne overlooking the magnificent Seine and under the shade of Paris’s most famous landmark.  You will then return home the following afternoon with some well earned comfort on the Eurostar.

Paul Smith took part in the London to Paris Cycle you can read his description of the trip here. Cycling with Paul was Helen Arnold, read her story here.

By becoming part of our team you will be helping to bring a world free from meningitis and septicaemia a step closer.

Meningitis and septicaemia are devastating diseases which can kill or disable in hours. Although anyone of any age can get the diseases, babies, children and young adults are most at risk.

Your contribution will enable us to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia, provide life-saving awareness information and support people who have lost a loved one or are coping with after effects, like Lesley.
