Ride the tribal trails and royal pathways through India's colourful "Land of the Kings" - Rajasthan.
This Indian charity cycle challenge will provide you with an
'off-the-beaten-track' adventure, through some of the best hill and
desert landscapes that Rajasthan has to offer. You'll cover a total
distance of 400km over 6 consecutive days in the saddle through this
fascinating region of India. Experiencing India at it's best on this
bike ride, you'll have opportunities to explore the amazing painted
"havelis" (mansions) of Shekawati - a remote area where rich merchants
once aimed to outdo each other by painting their homes in ever more
exuberant styles. Time has largely stood still since this extravagant
heyday, making this a fascinating area in which to hold this challenge.
From Shekawati you’ll head further into rural Rajasthan, an area of
stunning desert landscapes, dotted with villages of vibrant colour - a
complete contrast to the world-renowned sights of Delhi, Jaipur and the
Taj Mahal; with which you’ll end your charity challenge!
