Great Scottish Run

The biggest running event in Scotland

The Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run will take place in Glasgow on Sunday 5 October and is the biggest running event in Scotland.
Runners can choose between a 10k and half marathon challenge that will take them through the heart of the city, starting in George Square and finishing on Glasgow Green.

2013 was another record breaking year for the event with more than 30,000 participants of all ages lining up to enjoy the weekend and achieve their goals.

On Saturday 4 October, kids from 0-15 years old can get involved with a full programme of family events that include the Toddler Dash, Mini Run and Junior Run.

Whatever your goal – join the celebrations this autumn by signing up, getting active and being a part of this special weekend of running.
