Great Edinburgh Run

World class 10k and 5k in the capital

A fantastic 10 mile course takes runners through the heart of the city and features amazing views and world-famous landmarks including Greyfriar's Bobby, the Royal Mile, Scott Monument and Edinburgh Castle.

The distance represents a perfect middle marker for runners looking to step up or cool down their half marathon or marathon training, whilst also providing a valuable test for those looking to improve their performance and times over shorter distances in the summer. Junior and mini runs are available too!

This really is a unique opportunity to see everything Edinburgh has to offer. You'll be taking in the wild and dramatic natural world of Arthur's Seat and Duddingston Loch after experiencing the rich history and man-made beauty in the city centre.

By becoming part of our team you will be helping to bring a world free from meningitis and septicaemia a step closer.

Meningitis and septicaemia are devastating diseases which can kill or disable in hours. Although anyone of any age can get the diseases, babies, children and young adults are most at risk.

Your contribution will enable us to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia, provide life-saving awareness information and support people who have lost a loved one or are coping with after effects, like Jo and Jack.
