BUPA London 10,000

With Buckingham Palace as the backdrop for both the start and the finish of the race the BUPA London 10,000 takes runners past many of London’s most famous sights. These include Admiralty Arch, Nelson’s Column, St Paul’s Cathedral, Mansion House, Bank of England, Leadenhall Market, The Monument, Millennium Bridge, Tate Gallery, Cleopatra’s Needle, London Eye, Big Ben, Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

We don’t charge a registration fee for our charity places in the Bupa London 10,000, but ask you to raise a minimum sponsorship of £150.00.

If you’ve already secured your own place in the race and would like to raise money for us we’d be delighted to provide you with a running vest and runners pack.

Whether you’d like to apply for one of our charity places or already have your own place in the half marathon we’d be delighted if you ran for us. In return for raising money for us, we’ll supply you with a running pack and all the support you’ll need including:

• Training advice and a full training plan for the event
• Sponsor forms and advice about setting up an online sponsorship page at Justgiving.com
• Fundraising information to help you meet and beat your fundraising target
• Meningitis Research Foundation running vest or T-shirt to wear on the day

By becoming part of our team you will be helping to bring a world free from meningitis and septicaemia a step closer.

Meningitis and septicaemia are devastating diseases which can kill or disable in hours. Although anyone of any age can get the diseases, babies, children and young adults are most at risk.

Your contribution will enable us to fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of meningitis and septicaemia, provide life-saving awareness information and support people who have lost a loved one or are coping with after effects, like Jo and Jack.
