Dóchas Code of Conduct on Messages and Images
Meningitis Research Foundation is a proud signatory of the Dóchas Code of Conduct on Messages and Images for development organisations.
As a signatory we commit to avoiding stereotypical or sensational images in our communications, internally and externally.. We will choose images and messages that represent the full complexity of the situations in which we work, and we will seek the permission of the people portrayed in the photographs we use.
We will base our choice of images and messages on our global mission and values:
- By thinking globally, we can change the world
- Progress is only possible by working together
- Knowledge is our most powerful tool
- People are the best agents of change
