Dr Caroline Trotter is a Senior Research Fellow in the S chool of Social and Community Medicine at the University of Bristol. She is an infectious disease epidemiologist, with an MSc and PhD from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Her research focuses on assessing the population impact of vaccination against meningococcal and pneumococcal disease, using a range of research methods including mathematical modelling, costeffectiveness studies, analyses of large databases and seroprevalence studies. She is currently working on the MenAfriCar project (www.menafricar.org).
