Andy Williamson lost his beloved sister, Emma, to septicaemia in 1995. He hasn't taken this tragedy sitting down.
He's been out running and helping MRF raise awareness and money for vital research that will hopefully one day find a cure.
By combining his love of running with his strong willingness to do as much as he can for MRF, Andy is an unstoppable force.
He has created a video blog (vlog) to chronicle his training for this year's BUPA London 10k and he also includes his impressions and updates on the progress of meningitis research after going on a research site visit at St. Mary's Hospital in March.
Keep checking his YouTube channel for the latest vlogs.
