Hi, Three weeks ago my father was diagnosed with pneumoccal meningitis and got strep A from an ear infection. he was in intensive care for 8 days , then a hgih dependency unit and he is now on a medical ward. He is beginning to recognise family members but is very confused and disorientated and unsteady on his feet.he does not seem to be aware that he is in hospital adn what has happened to him. he has little appetite and is sleeping a lot at present. he is also getting some bad headaches. Before the meningitis he was a fit and healthy...
